Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate:

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;

And every fair from fair sometime declines,

By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;

But thy eternal summer shall not fade,

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ows’t;

Nor shall Death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,

When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st.

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,

So long lives this and this gives to thee.

    Comments：大爱此版本的翻译，确实有味道
    ”Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour recorded Sonnet 18 as song for his wife ,with the music written by him and played on piano by Michael Kamen . A video of him recording the piece was released as an extra on his 2002 DVD ,David Gilmour in Concert but the recording was never released on an albumn .”
    作为PinkFloyd guitar手的David，以sonnet也就是莎士比亚十四行诗中的18，亲自为他的妻子创作了一首歌曲，而该曲并没有在David的唱片里公开发表，有幸在YouTube上搞到了这个版本，David充满磁性的声音依旧让人无法忘怀，给我的感觉就像刚听到影片《了不起的盖茨比》的主题曲–Young and Beautiful一样，余音绕梁，脑海里久久不能抹去……
